From the Ground Up

After high school, Kevin found himself facing the uncertainty of building a future from scratch. Unsure of what lay ahead, he took on the challenges of creating a life from the ground up. Over time, the lessons he learned and the perseverance he developed shaped him into the dedicated real estate agent he is today—constantly pushing himself to grow, serve his clients, and strive for excellence every day.

Why Real Estate?

Real estate gave Kevin the opportunity to pursue his goals with intense focus, while also making a meaningful impact on people’s lives. Helping others find homes where they can recharge and rebuild after life’s setbacks is what drives him. Real estate became the perfect outlet for Kevin to channel his relentless drive. His ability to help Spanish-speaking clients and first-time homebuyers understand the process, diving into the nuances of each transaction, is a key part of his work. Kevin’s favorite design style is Japanese joinery, and he appreciates the variety of programs available in today’s market that help buyers find and purchase their homes. He’s constantly educating himself and his clients through videos to stay ahead in the industry.

Family and Work Ethic

Kevin grew up in a hardworking family from El Salvador, where he learned the value of persistence early on. With two younger siblings, Kevin sets a strong example for them and works every day to create a better life. The same dedication he learned from his family is applied to every aspect of his life, including real estate. As someone new to the industry, Kevin brings energy, persistence, and a passion for learning to everything he does. He has an overall passion for wellness and self-improvement, and although he’s quiet, he’s strategic and humble enough to ask questions when needed.

Training, Focus and Construction Background

In his downtime, Kevin finds peace in nature. He dedicates time to train in soccer, fighting, and weightlifting, and is proud to be part of the Marmalejo Brothers Boxing team and FC Texoma. The discipline and focus from these activities carry over into his work in real estate.

With a construction background, Kevin has a sharp eye for quality and can help clients envision what’s possible for their homes. He’s worked in framing, roofing, HVAC, and utility and boring work, which gives him a solid understanding of what’s possible when it comes to home improvements. This knowledge is especially helpful when working with new builds, as Kevin can spot potential issues or quality craftsmanship that others might miss—ensuring his clients make informed decisions about their homes.

Kevin is proud to call Grayson County home. He thrives in the great outdoors and takes advantage of all the open spaces Grayson County offers. Whether it's the soccer fields at Pecan Grove, where he spends time practicing or coaching, or the Denison Dam and the road to the spillway, which offer the perfect secret spots for fishing, shade, and relaxation, Grayson County is full of places that bring Kevin peace. When it’s time to eat, Kevin’s go-to spot is always Picante Taco. Kevin is always exploring different parts of Texoma. Real estate gives Kevin the ideal balance of work and play—helping people find their dream homes while also allowing him to enjoy everything this region has to offer.
