Passion for Real Estate, Design, and Helping Others Make Their Dreams a Reality
Lydia's transition into real estate was one that combined her love for design, her strong family ties, and her deep connection to her hometown of Dallas. As a native Dallasite, Lydia has always had a special place in her heart for the DFW area. After graduating from Baylor University in 2014 with a degree in Interior Design, she initially worked in the design field for over four years. However, as time went on, it became clear that her long-term career path might lie somewhere else. Following in the footsteps of her parents—both seasoned real estate professionals—Lydia took the leap into real estate, earned her license, and joined the family business. Since then, she’s never looked back.
Lydia’s passion for real estate stems from her genuine love for helping others. While she enjoys the creative side of design, she finds true fulfillment in assisting her clients through one of life’s most significant milestones—buying or selling a home. "My main passion is people, which is why real estate is the perfect job for me," she shares. Real estate has allowed her to connect with clients in meaningful ways. She thrives on making the process of buying or selling a home easier and less stressful, advocating for her clients and solving problems so they don’t have to.
With her knowledge of construction and home renovations, Lydia can offer her clients unique insights that most real estate agents simply can't. Whether it's helping clients envision the potential of a home or guiding them on the costs of labor and materials, Lydia uses her design skills to help her clients make informed decisions.
A Passion for Helping First-Time Homebuyers
Specializing in first-time homebuyers, Lydia takes particular joy in guiding her clients through the sometimes intimidating world of real estate. She loves educating them on the market, making the entire process fun and accessible. “I really care about building trust and ultimately a friendship with my clients,” she says. “It’s so rewarding to help make their dreams come true!”
Lydia primarily works within Richardson ISD but also serves clients throughout the DFW metroplex. With a deep understanding of the area and its real estate trends, she is well-equipped to guide clients in any neighborhood.
Outside of work, Lydia enjoys spending time with her husband, Connor, whom she married in December 2021. The couple lives in Richardson, where they share their home with their golden retriever, Autumn, who brings constant joy and laughter into their lives.
They both enjoy traveling, skiing, and being active members of their church community. Lydia is passionate about serving at church, whether it’s working with high school students or leading women’s Bible study. In her free time, she loves reading, hanging out with friends, and taking on house projects. She’s also an active member of the Chi Omega Alumnae of Dallas, where she stays connected with her college network.
Lydia's Favorites & Design Picks
Lydia is a fan of Dallas' coffee scene, and she’s a firm believer that Merit Coffee serves the best vanilla latte in town. When it comes to restaurants, her favorite spot is Industrial Pizza. She also looks forward to attending the State Fair each year, where she can indulge in the iconic Fletcher’s Corn Dog. When it comes to design, Lydia is a fan of the timeless style seen in Nancy Meyers' films. Besides Richardson, Lydia’s personal favorite neighborhoods are Lakewood and Lower Greenville, thanks to their unique home styles and plenty of things to do.
Lydia’s decision to work with Paragon was driven by the brokerage's commitment to helping agents grow and succeed. She has found an incredible community of support, with leadership that truly cares about each agent's success. “It feels like family at Paragon,” Lydia says, “and everyone genuinely wants to help each other succeed.”
